A couple of people had mentioned earlier in this thread that they thought Barclay may possibly retract the card if they saw the other accounts that had been opened. And it appears that Barclay may have possibly taken a second look and pulled another report (EX) after the initial application.

So to answer your question more clearly, Barclay has officially started reporting to the bureaus. So it seems that even after their 2nd look, they didn't seem to have issue with anything. And given that they checked EX as their second pull, then they would have clearly seen the pulls from BoA and Ducks Unlimited as well.

Obviously, I'm still keeping a close eye on things, but for now it seems that all is good. I'm still anxious to receive the physical cards though....like a 7-yr old waiting for Christmas morning...

Here's the thing Taurus.  You're preaching to the choir here.  Many of us here would certainly be deemed "aggressive credit seekers" compared to what many creditors think should be "normal" credit behavior.  So here in these forums, we are all on the same team and hoping that nobody ever gets some kind of AA.  We all hope that you go under the radar and nothing ever comes of this.

Barclays is always super fast to report.  They frequently SP EX and they surely saw 2 new inquiries.  That doesn't mean 2 new accounts or better yet, 3 accounts that will show up right after they approved you.  "If" there was something that would come of this, the others have already mentioned the reasons and you'll already know what the deal is so therefore no surprise.  Remember what I said earlier, not a single person here wants to see that.

If I took a survey here of the "Top 10 Favorite Creditors", it is highly unlikely Barclays would be on that list.  When the Uber card came out and people saw who the issuer was, that absolutely prevented some people from applying.

@Overmedicated

Hey, I completely understand and thanks for the feedback. If any of my comments regarding the possible Barclay retraction, etc. have come across as edgy or snarky it certainly wasn't intended that way. I was just making it clear that I understood the possibilities and that my "arguments" are intended as a rebuttal to Barclay (should it be necessary), not as any backlash toward any forum members.

Everyone approaches credit in their own way and through this spree I've taken calculated risks that I was well-prepared for thanks to the people that have contributed in this forum. And honestly, I am still holding my breath and will continue to do so for another 5-6 months.....but hoping for the best. The comments and warnings that people have left in this thread are most appreciated and I have taken no offense to any of them and hope that no one has taken offense to mine.

The big picture: I now have the core of CB cards that suit me best, if no AA comes. And until something hits the market that offers a return on maybe, healthcare spend, automotive, or 5% Walmart/Costco.....then I won't be applying for anything else in the next couple of years (maybe more). My credit needs are fairly covered for now.

I am still awaiting the US Bank SLI Recon decision as I'm guessing it took a delay due to the weekend. Keeping fingers crossed that I get an update today.

Not that you need it.. but Navy is also known for some predictable BT offers at a certain time of year .....

And they have some other really good products as well.. Some folks have gotten car refis and such from them.....

Sorry for the thread altering here, but can you elaborate on that "certain time of year"?

I know that NFCU doesn't charge a fee for BT transfers, but it surprised me to see that they don't have any 0% offers available (I think there is 1 card with 0%, but it wasn't a rewards card if I remember correctly).

Do they make any 0% offers available at some point?

They offer 0% and low APR offers around late December/early January. They had both 0% targeted and 1.99% for everyone offers this year.

The Platinum always has 0% on balance transfers as an intro offer while the other cards usually have SUBs. Platinum doesn’t earn rewards unless you use it on the Member Deals site.

@LittleSal

Thank you! Was well worth the stress....lol.

@SarahJo

I decided to visit the Ducks online approval site to check for the SL, rather than calling in like you suggested. Just didn't want to put human eyes on it again and push my luck.....lol.
