Hey Roseyk,
I've been following your results, you started rebuild in Feb 2014...was that after a bk discharge?
thank you
You have been very successful in building your credit portfolio and in a short period of time. I think you doing this shows that anyone can get out of a credit slump. I have been on the credit rodeo for so long, that this time I am on the upswing. One day I hope to have 1/2 your success. Congrats!

No, no BK but was a very successful Realtor that went under back in 2007/2008 when the market and bank/lenders began spiraling down. Most accounts paid, but some went down with me, lol! Anyway credit suffered and I plunged into a cash and carry world for several years and one day in Feb 2014 Capital One sent me a pre approval for a $300.00 CL, then increased to 2300.00, another preapproval and so on and so on.

NICKI183. Thanks! When I received that pre approval from Cap One, I was so excited about the opportunity regardless to how small the CL. I vowed that I would be the best customer Cap One ever had, lol! I must say that they rewarded my efforts. Every increase was at least 2000 to 3000 every 4 to 5 months. After 4 cards I decided I need to diversify and Chase, Discover welcomed me, and I kept it going. I know that I got caught up in the world wind of approvals and I have to slow down now. I will join Musiclover and others in the garden. Do monitor your credit report thru one of the major bureaus, you can negotiate the monthly cost with them. Its much better than Credit Karma, they were always off by30 to 60 points with me. This site and many members are so helpful, it really was instrumental in my credit growth! Best wishes on your on the upswing, if I can do it, anyone can!
I love that you said you don't regret any of it ( maybe one ) and that you had fun!
Way to go!
