Re: 4x Approved...

Yes, I did. They asked for 3 months worth of bank statements. At the time, I was laid off. So I had no income. I didn't want to chance it.

Re: 4x Approved...

Thanks everyone!!!  Couldn't have done it without this forum!!!

Small update...

- Called in for the limit on my TrueEarnings Amex : $2,300. Small, considering the other approvals, but more than enough for what I'm going to use it for.

- My old BofA Platinum Plus Visa: Requested a bump from $1,000 to $5,000 (Approved after an hour), and PC'ed to BankAmericard Cash Rewards™ Visa Signature (HP TU)

- Bumped my NFCU cashRewards card from $8,500 - $10,000 (requested $15,000) (SP) Only 2 statements in.

- App'ed for NFCU Flagship Rewards Sig (for kicks) - received the "Decision in 1 business day..." message. Surprisingly approved for $5,000 this morning. I was denied for this card 2 months ago. (HP EQ)

- Requested a Macy's AMEX "upgrade". Still pending.

Gardening for 2 years overall (home purchase). I'll app for a NO AF Amex next year for the backdate/sock drawer.

Re: 4x Approved...

No problem. Basically, I purchased a mic preamp from a friend, who was also an AU on my PRG. I used Paypal for the transaction. Him being an AU triggered it.  Lesson learned. Smiley Frustrated

Re: 4x Approved... UPDATE 5X

Update: Last week, I requested a CLI and PC for my BofA Plat Plus Visa from $1,000 to $5,000, and was instanly approved. I checked my account today and noticed that my credit limit was $7,500!!! I can't complain! My little secured card has evolved!!

And it looks like I dodged an FR from Sept '13. I cancelled 2 Amex cards (PRG and BCE) during the FR, then 6 months later, reapplied and was instantly approved. Even added my wife as an AU (again) with no problems. Had to call for verification and everything went smoothly. We'll see...
