I should have been a little braver when I called yesterday!! I asked for $4k and I got it! I've been a little cautious when it's come to this card, as my Saks MC was the only card I had that ended up going into C/O status a few years back (at the time I was using a debt management company and they weren't applying my payments correctly to both my MC and my Saks store TL). Anyway, never dreamt they would have let me back in again so soon, though Cap One DID end up deleting the C/O so that probably helped. Maybe in a month or two I will shoot for the moon on this one, but for now, happy with the $2k CLI to $4k!
You can request one every 30 days, GO FOR IT

love Saks. Called in and requested a CLI of 20K. After being on hold for about 5 mins or so, they GRANTED the $8K CLI
Card now sits at $20K, my 2nd highest limit.
