I always nickname accounts when there is more than one, I just thought that was for me only.
When he said " What will name the new one" I sunk into the couch so deep, I'm not convinced I've been found yet
Congrats on your approval.

Now you know to name one "Hello Mr. or Ms. Lovely And Wonderful USB CSR Plz Give Me a 10k CLI K Thx Bye"

Funny story!
Congrats.

Reading that reminded me of seeing this for the first time
I love reading your approval threads lol. Congrats on scoring another card from them! ![]()
A very entertaining story on your circuitous route to approval for the right/wrong (?) credit card. It's a great MyFico Forum bedtime story for credit card approval addicts -- I mean, enthusiasts.
Woohoo you GO gurl!
CoNgRaTs!
   That story was EPIC btw
A couple things, this whole thing of wrong app (queue for 30 days and all happened to me with 2 of thier biz apps almost 2 years ago -- branch error in submitting incorrect one). In the end it all worked out -- the approval is what counts + you get a SUB!  And, I also learned they can see the account nicknames just like 5/3 does ![]()
We'll skip the Ensure tonight!

Even though I knew the story, it absolutely made my night getting to read it all over again!  ![]()
IMHO that's not boss-level embarassing, but it's definitely "boss-level" - seriously, they love you!
Before I go any further, congrats on the great approval (of course) - that's another awesome addition!
Epic story aside, those are also some fantastic data points... today I learned:
1. U.S. Bank has pre-approvals with set APR and credit line (I didn't know that before your experience).
2. Thirty day rule if an app gets "stuck" due to frozen bureau, and first-in, first-out.
3. I knew this part, but this is a great reminder that U.S. Bank analyst are actually pretty good to deal with!
Again, thanks for sharing your fantastic adventure and I'll happily take the "blame" for it being shared with everyone else!
