Hey all, my Delta SkyMiles Gold AMEX that was initially approved for $10,000 at the end of August has just aged to 62 days old so I thought it was time to pull the trigger to see if AMEX wants to show me more love. I went all in and requested the full 3x which would've made my new limit $30,000, but the automated system decided to counter with an increase of $10,000 which would bring my limit to a total of $20,000! Needless to say, I accepted the counter-offer and am actually very pleased considering I was worried they would deny me all together.

Congrats! Interesting that 5 days apart and 7 point increase warranted a 9k difference in Amex approvals. I wonder if it's because of the co branding? Either way, congrats on your success!
