AMEX APPOVAL!!

Ok so I am new to forums so HEY!

Just to give a little backround i'm 21, i have a 712 EQ score with 6 months of credit with a total CL of $1,700.

I applied for an AMEX Everyday on 7/25 and was instantly denied... I was kind of upset so I thought what the hell and i called in and reconed. The rep told me wait 24 ot 48 hours for a response. So tonight I was on my fico and recieved an email saying Congraulations! You Approved I was jumping for joy! Im so happy im in with AMEX!! Still Kinda new at this how do I upload my Approval Email as a Screen Shot?

Congrats on your approval. This will likely be moved to the approvals section and future approvals should be posted there. You're new so no biggie, again Congrats on your persistence and approval.

Re: AMEX APPOVAL!!

Amex were the first ones to give me highest credit lines. They also cut them to shreds during one of their notorious inquiries.... Dont play with spending power button, especially on charge cards.

Congrats anyhow!

Re: AMEX APPOVAL!!

Congrats.

I believe once you have the screenshot, there's a image button (next to the link button) when making a post. Click that and upload.

Something like that. LOL

The "Check Spending Power" button has been used by some to find out their max they can put on the card at one time. I would think AMEX believes people who do that are at risk of making that big-ticket purchase, then skipping on the bill.

On their charge cards, if approved for say, $3000, you'll be able to spend that amount, but will have to pay the bill in full when the statement cuts.

On their revolvers, your CL can be that same $3000, and you want to buy something that costs $3700. You use the "Check Spending Power" button, it approves you! Great right?? Not so quick... Come your statement, that $700 that you went over your initial limit will have to be paid, along with your regular minimum payment due.

It gives you that extra oomph, it is not a CLI.
