Greetings,
Well, I guess the Credit Card Gods are smiling on me. I had applied for the Macy's AMEX card ($8000) and was approved. What I didn't know was that although it
can be used not only a Macy's; but anywhere AMEX is accepted ( I only get one bill from Macy; not two) I have "NO" support from AMEX at all!!! I didn't even exist
to them. AMEX told me that I had to call Macy's for customer support. I was in shock. So I started looking around for an AMEX card and after a quick mental
inventory of my financial health I choose to apply for the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Card (I love the 6% points up to $6000 in the first year). I was worried as in less
than a 2 week period I was approved for the following:
Macy's AMEX - $8000
Chase Marriott Rewards Premier - $5000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $5000
And now: AMEX Blue Cash Preferred - $6500 *APPROVED*
Total additional credit in less than 2 weeks: $24500
Needless to say I was pleased. All this with my FICO scores of: Equifax - 626 Trans Union - 685 Experian - 683. I thought you had to have "EXCELLENT" credit to apply. I took a chance and it worked out for me. I wanted to thank everyone for all the support and education of credit that helped me get my new CC's. Thank you and enjoy what remains of your day.

Congratulations!
Nice!! Congrats!!
congrats
Congrats!!

Congratulations on your approval and on your success, very nice! Macy's Amex, Dillard's Amex, Bloomingdale's Amex and other similar cards are NOT Amex cards through Centurion Bank, which issues actual Amex cards.
The card you have is a Macy's card which just runs on the Amex payment network. Totally different. They have nothing to do with Amex and the bank who issues Amex itself. It's a matter of what payment network they run on. ![]()

You're steam boatin' along...good work!
