This is was really weird. I applied for the Amex Blue Sky online about three weeks ago and was instantly denied. I called the recon line a few days later to no avail. So I gave up on this card and decided to eventually try for the CSP. This morning out of the blue I received an email that stated that I was NOW approved for the Amex Blue Sky. Why would Amex change their mind, especially without me initiating a review of my application.
And secondly, is there a way to PC my blue sky into the blue cash. I still want the CSP to be my travel card of choice.
We've read somebody else having this happen a week or two ago.
I would check your report for 2 HP from the same CRA.

It's weird normally I would care but I'm too excited about starting my relationship with Amex. The csr I spoke with said I would have to cancel the blue sky and apply for the blue cash, a product change would not be possible. Anyone know if this is true?
Congrats

Thank you. Now one more card until I start gardening for years.

Wait until you activate the card and then use the secure message center. I did it with my blue to a bce. As long as the AF is the same.
Okay just what I was looking for. Thank you.

No problem, Id recommend going to the bce and not the regular blue though.
The preferred one? I will eventually but right now I don't spend enough on groceries/gas to pay off the annual fee.
