AMEX BCE 61 day CLI !!!!

Its was finally my 61st day with my Amex BCE and I hit the love button. I started with $8200 which I thought was high for my modest income of $32000. I didn't go for the 3X, because $24600 just seemed so high so I went for double my limit instead. Amex countered with $15400 which is AWESOME. My first card over $10k in my life.

Thanks to the forum for all the great advice. and making 2017 a great credit year for me so far.

Some data points: Fico 8 scores TU 705, EX 704 EX 683. I also had a balance transfer on the card for $2369 so I was at 29% utilization on the card and 18% total. But amex isn't reporting yet. Next up is my Discover Card its 90 days in April 1st, April Fool's should be interesting.

Oh my goodness @trentk, you are on a roll. Congrats to a great SL and CLI. I want an AmX so badly but I'm going to make myself stay in the garden. Thanks for the data points because my salary is about the same as your's and my scores are only a tad bit higher and I'm 5% utilization. So you give me hope about getting a high CL when I do decide to apply. Again, a super CONGRATS to you.

Well executed on taking the card utilization down to 29% before going for the CLI. Had you been a little bit higher on utilization at 30%+ there's a chance you wouldn't have made out as well as you did.
