AMEX BCE 61 day CLI

I tried this and didn't get an instant approval, but a blurb that said "your request has been submitted and you will receive a response in 7-10 days"  I'm guessing it's a no and they will tell me why, most likely a very old collection that re-appeard after I got this card.

I got this message too, It could be a weekend or a Federal holiday( Feb 19th 2018) is President's Day in US. I would try again on tuesday which is the next business day. My Fico score is over 720, so it shouldnt be a problem.

If you are on your 61 day, you might need to wait until the next day. This happened to me.
