@AllZero wrote:Congratulations on your approval! Was wondering when you would go and apply. Put your good score to use. Maybe a couple more apps on EQ and TU?
Thanks!
If I 100% knew that Discover would pull my TU 8 score, I'd do it right now. lol
Join and apply with some CUs. BECU soft pull for membership, TU8 Hard Pull for CC products. PenFed EQ hardpull for membership and CC products.
Hasnt BECU fallen out of favor recently? Admittedly, I dont keep up on FCUs.
@Meanmchine. No. BECU still going strong. Great CU to be a member of. Not inquiry sensitive. Nice APY on checking and savings up to $500 per account.
This's your temporary Congratulations, till you get your card.![]()

BECU also pulls ChexSystems. Quite a few people have been turned down for checking / savings accounts based on Chex so make sure your report has no issues

That is true. They can be ChexSystems sensitive. In your case, seeing that shiny emerald spade, I don't think you have to worry unless you've opened a lot of checking accounts in the last ~90 days.
I just got another AMEX BCE $200 sign-up offer in the mail today. Funny how that happens.
And I got the myFICO alerts today to the 2 new inquiries from a day and a half ago. lol
That free (Basic) Experian membership beats FICO Premier ($39.95 monthly) for speed of inquiry alerts!
I have to go water my new little seedling plant now.

It really gets to be funny when you respond to an offer and get declined and they still continue to send you preapproved mail
