I've been with AMEX for 6- days now, and I was going to wait until August to make a CLI request in case I needed to supply tax info. Got itchy finger and requested a CLI today, because I wanted the (potential) new limit to be reflected when my statement cuts towards the end of the month.
I was not going for the 3x because 47,400 seemed ridiculous for what's my grocery/streaming/online services card. So I requested 40000... Was hoping for 35000, they countered with 31,500 and I called that good enough.
It puts me just over the average CL I was trying to hit for CBIS purposes - my insurance is due in another 45 days or so, and I wanted to see if I could make my CBIS better for shopping purposes outside of time factors that are kind of out of my hands at the moment (though I've been told by numerous people to shut my piehole about my insurance cost as it is apparently a lot less than what people I know are paying and I have both a newer vehicle and carry much higher limits )
Noice 🎉🎊🍾🎈🥓🥓

Do you check that TU AUTO CBIS score through Credit Karma? I was just curious what CBIS score has a decent effect on auto insurance premiums.
Congratulations!!
Congrats, Calyx!! 🎉🎉🎉
YOU...
CONGRATS @calyx on your AWESOME AmEx CLI - I plan on doing the same thing to my AmEx Cash Magnet card lin September!!!
Thanks, y'all!

I do check the TU CBIS at Credit Karma - they've changed the page to give less information/tracking than before, but I had already started putting it into a spreadsheet.
I know LN is the other one, but they don't let you buy your score anymore
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure my CBIS score matters at this point (particularly since my premiums are apparently low), but it gives me something to do other than apping.
I like how $47,400 for streaming services would be ridiculous while $40k would be good, and $35k would be acceptable. 😆
