Hard to say whether it will compensate for a new account hit.
I wasn't referring to AZEO specifically - as I have only 3 cards and sometimes go from 3 reporting, to 2, and back to 3 without penalty so long as util remains low. I'm only penalized when all cards report zero, and I know that results in a negative reason code for FICO so having at least one card report a balance is best.
I have yet to successfully implement AZEO (March will be my first time) so cannot, based on my own experiences, speak on the benefits of it.
