I've had most of my luck recently with AMEX when it comes to building my credit back as they were the only company i've not had any baddies on when I hit my rough patch 3 years ago. Discover, synchonry, and Citibank won't preapprove and my Cap1 PA only showed secured cards. Well after hitting it off with a hilton No AF and hilton Aspire 6 and 3 months ago, figured I'd check again with the Delta Reserve. Didn't show pre-approved, but knowing chances were good it'd be a soft, I pulled the trigger. And I'm glad I did as it was approved for $3.7k! Experian shows Fico of 672, and I've been cycling about $10k of spend through my cards between me and my AU while carrying less than 10% util. I have a lot of travelling ahead of me and Delta is the airline I fly the most of, which makes me super excited for the card as well as the upgrade status regardless of status (although SUB will get me a decent ways to silver) Thanks to AMEX for showing the love again with their highest CL from them so far, now only if they would CLI my EDP to something more than $1k and I'd be thrilled
