Been rebuilding my credit actively since 2019, trying to make the right moves to get to a good spot. I let everything go 7 years ago. This month my final baddie dropped off, and I applied for the Amex Gold, and it took 3-4 days to get a response. Was surprised with the email today stating my approval!!
This is a goal card of mine, even after the little revamp they recently did. Man it feels good.
Some datapoints I can add. Experian is a 679, Utilization around 35% total, one card maxed out still at around 95%. Only holding a balance on 2 of my 6 cards.
I was very surprised this morning. But this is just a good sign for me that I am progressing in the credit world to a spot where I want to be!
