Congrats.. Probably only thing that has changed is the economy is recovering and is more certain than when they denied you in the past as unemployment is dropping and jobs are coming back, etc.. So UW probably is loosening up a bit for some lenders? Enjoy and nice bonus!
Now you've got me wanting to hit apply. My pre-qual isn't as good, 60k for 4k spend over 6 months. But I'm quite certain I'm still on their internal blacklist. So, on the one hand, no harm in trying I suppose... but risk the HP if I'm off the blacklist (and breaking my garden goal). Decisions decisions.
Glad to see that Amex righted their wrong. That denial back in May was a real head-scratcher. Maybe the extra 25k MR points are their way of apologizing. 😉
