I've been trying the AMEX prequalify link for years now with no offers made. I've been applying for cards this year out of sheer boredom which has shot my inquiries up. Surprisingly this time when I went on the prequalify site, I was offered the AMEX Platinum. Me thinking the website was playing a joke on me, I went ahead and applied and was approved at a TU/Ex/Eq 643. It says it has no preset spending limit so I don't even know what the credit line is. I'm still in shock.
Update 10/28/21 - Decided to do double or nothing and applied for the Delta Skymiles Gold and was approved at 1000SL. I'm gonna go to the garden for a few years now.

Excellent approval and congrats! Do you have any other data points besides the 643 credit score to share for others on here? For example, do you have any derogs in your credit profile like (bankruptcy if so, what chapter and how long ago. Also, any lates, repos, things of that nature). What changed in your overall credit that now Amex decided to give you a chance?
