Plenty of people receive no pre-qualified offers every day but still apply and get approved for a card. That doesn't constitute "lies" on the part of the creditor.
You guys are taking this too seriously. I was just kidding...I was just proving a point, and to really advise people to not let certain credit things get them down.
It is not that we are taking this seriously. With all due respect your post did not make sense since it had no explanation at all, just a title and a picture. People are trying to figure out what it was about.
I really don't understand why people don't understand my post. I put up a screenshot stating that I wasn't prequalifed for anything, but I apped anyway and now I have 2 AMEXs, so in essence, the site is "lying". It was my attempt to be funny, but failed miserably....
Don't feel bad... sometimes the true meaning of things can get lost in the typed text on the screen - it's happened to me before as well.
If you want, you can go back and edit your first post, and update the subject (perhaps add 'LOL' to the end) and it will begin to appear that way in the forum listing. That way people who see it will know you mean 'lie' in jest.
IDK, there's lots of sarcasm on here, and mostly everyone gets it....*heading to the garden with my head down*
congrats!! and we'd love to have you keep your head up!

Just make sure you put up an electric fence around it. There have been cases of cards seducing gardeners and "forcing" them out of the garden. Well not forcing, you can't force the willing.

It would have been funny if I knew you had been approved after getting that message. But I thought "I have two Amexs" meant you had previous cards from them. So I was wondering, what would the old Amexs have to do with a new approval..
Isn't posting, well basically nothing just to get a rise go against some type of TOS? I'd put this under troll..

It is posting. I posted my experience as does everyone else. Some newbies will realize that the pre-qualifier is not be-all end-all.
I never get pre-approvals from Amex but always get the card I app for. Just machines doing what they do.

Right!
Or they're believe AMEX is telling lies which is not true.

the good thing about amex is that they will sp u for future amex apps now that you already have one (and only hp if your approved)!!
just do the research to make sure u get the highest bonus first
I find this forum a nice place to escape the nuisances of the Internet, pop ups and all that junk especially Clickbait, but here we are with a good ole Clickbait thread, where to go to escape it?
