Shocked!! my scores dropped after closing down my business and unable to keep up with payments for cards.
Opened capitalone card at age 18. Got it up to a 4k line and by age 27 could not continue paying. Burned capitalone on 4k and thought I'd never get in again. The debt was charged off but has not dropped since it hasnt been 7 years.
I tried pre qualify page for 2 years and never got a match. Checked credit karma and said I had very good odds of approval. Took that with a grain of salt but decided to apply.
Approved!!! small CL of $300 but hey it's something! I'm happy they approved me.

Thanks. I can’t see enrollment yet. I have my old username and password from the previous card so when I try to enroll online it takes me to my old account but doesn’t let me see anything.
I’m not sure if when the card arrives in the mail, I can then follow the instructions to link it to my old account to see if I’m enrolled in credit steps.
