Outside of that, she said that there is no way to speak with an underwriter or notate the application that I called to verify the application as legitimate. Encouraged me to keep checking on the application status tool, and stated that a decision could come today or later this week. Mentioned how Wednesday is a federal holiday, so there will be no decisioning on that day (but said that I'll hopefully get an answer beforehand). Gotta keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
My application is still in review. While on my flight back home from Anaheim, I got to chatting with one of the flight attendants while they were coming through the cabin with applications for the card. At least I feel validated when she mentioned that my application still pending after over a week is highly unusual from what she's seen during her time with Alaska. Hopefully I'll get either an email or a letter in the mail next week from BofA to call in or send in docs for identity verification.
I woke up to a missed call and a text from BofA asking me to call them back. After verifying a OTP and my address, the analyst asked if it was indeed me who applied for the card due to there being a fraud alert on my credit report. After verifying that it was indeed me who applied, they stated congratulations I was approved for the AS siggy with a SL of $6,700! They also were nice enough to rush sending me a new card at no charge.

Congratulations on your Alaska Airlines approval!
