Hi everyone,
I’m here to post an approval with datapoints.
Applied 2/15/24 at 5:30 AM
Instant approval for $22K
APR 22.24% which is 1% more than the lowest one listed.
U.S. Bank pulled Experian. I’ve read they use the FICO 8 version when they pull Experian and mine was 749.
Only 1 new account over the last 12 months:
9/12/23 Redstone FCU Signature Visa approval.
I was 1/6, 1/12 and 9/24 for new cards when I was approved.
I was 2/6 and 2/12 for inquiries on Experian when I was approved. The 2nd inquiry was from USAA who denied me again in September. USAA WILL NEVER EVER GIVE ME A CARD!
My U.S. Bank history is as follows:
June of 2022 I was instantly approved for a CashPlus card with a $2K limit.
The same day I applied for the Pegasus Bank MaxCash card and it went to review and was approved a few days later with a $500 limit.
I almost forgot- in July of 2022 I opened a checking account and added the flex perks gold card to the application (because why not?) and I got an instant denial. I did not recon.
I usually direct deposit $1K a week into the checking account and pay my mortgage from it.
I applied for and was approved for the Altitude Reserve card on 1/31/22 and got a $15K approval. This application went to review.
I tried many times for soft pull CLI’s on the CashPlus and Pegasus cards but only got letters asking me to unlock my reports. I have a policy of not burning HP’s on CLI’s but the $500 limit was really bothering me so I let them pull my credit (Transunion) on 10/20/23 and I received a CLI that brought my limit up to $15K the same day. (It is currently my only Transunion HP). The CashPlus is still at $2K but I can live with that.
I’m very happy with U.S. Bank.
If anyone has any questions please ask away.
