Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to put my DP in case anyone was interested in becoming a new customer with US Bank, without prior relationship and not living within a US Bank local branch area. For reference:
23
Income: 53000
3/6
5/24 ( Don't really care for Chase, but if you do here's that)
Average age of accounts: 2 yr 6 months
Oldest account: 5 yrs 4 months (Student loan)
Capital One Savor One - 2/2024 $2000
Amex BCE - 7/2024 $5000
Citi Custom Cash - 2/2025 $4700
Apple Card - 3/2025 $2000
PayPal Debit - 3/2025 (Not a CC, but yea)
and now
Altitude Go - 3/2025 $500
Honestly bummed about the CLI but I know that going forward it was the most likely scenario especially with so many credit pulls in a short time. I needed this card to build relationship with US Bank, love the custom service, liked the multiplier with 4x on dining since dining is my primary spending each month by a landslide, $15 credit can go towards my Apple Music so like 2 and half months free essentially, trying to thicken my profile with no annual fee cards I need now, and working on a cash back set up and potentially get the Connect for the future to get cash back on travel. Not traveling now which is another reason for the cashback focused setup.
Nicely done!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Thanks appreciate it. Any tips on when to ask for CL increase with US Bank?

I had a similar start with USB. Low credit age, no banking history, lots of new accounts, 500 dollar SL...
I asked at 6 months there was a hard pull. The computer gave me a 500 dollar cli asked for recon the underwriters gave me 9500.
My recon success here: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/USB-CLI-reconsideration-500-to-9500/m-p/66711...
What I did to go from 500 to 10k was spend like crazy for the first 6 months I averaged 550/mon in spend. Basically if the difference was 1-2%cb and I had enough limit it went on the Go. If I didn't have enough limit I paid off the balance and just kept using it.
I have since gotten the limit up to 15k. I froze my TU report before asking for the 10k to 15k CLI in the app. Every request since then has been met with a request to unfreeze my report and I have declined.

Congratulations on your Altitude Go approval!
That's pretty awesome! Congratulations!
