They don't understand why you are calling at all and try to locate an account or verify another account pulled up by the phone number and still don't get it when you tell them over and over that I was given this phone number to call for verification to an application!!!
they are so frustrating to deal with!

To discourage you from applying.
Honestly, I've never had an issue with their CSRs, U.S.-based or offshore. I think you already have this in your mindset of how things will go down. And, guess what? from seeing some of your rants... errrr... posts, that tends to be the outcome.
I applied for EBates Visa a couple weeks ago, not an instant approval and was given a Key Code # and a number to call. Guess what, a pleasant experience. I'll even go with a triple AWESOME experience because the same thing happened with my eBay MC last year and with another SYNCB card. These folks were professional and understood why I called. I may have been on hold for a little over 5 minutes but all was taken care of. Bottom line, my experience was great. Sorry yours never is.
Maybe they're just not into you? ![]()
After 10 minutes my partner hung up on her and called "Credit Solutions overseas" and actually got state side I believe and after 30 seconds app was found and the income was entered as monthly instead of yearly so it had held the account up but a minute later it was approved $600 (ouch)
Got confirmation email and called back to the Credit Solutions state side number and asked for CLI.
Asked for $10k and was given = $10,000!!

LOL... I thought that was the Creditaddict standard rule or suggestion? no? ![]()
@Credditadditc - glad to hear that your partner was eventually approved, albeit having to dial a different #.

OMG, you know that's what I was thinking as soon as I heard $10 was approved... maybe right before we place our big order with the 24 month financing ill have him call in again...
and FIN what really rubbed me wrong is it was a security number to call into... I have had a bunch of those lately with GE and I don't mind it at all... way better then waiting for some letter or something but this one actually gave the standard Amazon Store Card phone number for regular reps... it takes 5 minutes just to get through the automated system without an account number and didn't work by social either... I have never had issues with the verification department before when it actually goes to them not a regular csr.
