Started at 520 cause of really poor decisions with credit, burned some bridges 7-10 years ago. But then started paying off collections, managing my money better, no cc's just paying off debt. Finished school and got my first career lining job. I've been rebuilding my credit this year with the start of my career, going steady with the Cap1 Plat, paid off in full every month! (really proud of that haha)
Wanted a cc with some benefits as I continue building, no pre-approvals on the big chase cards or amex, only the venture card from cap 1, got denied for the amazon prime chase card a few months ago. I use my cap 1 plat mostly on amazon purchases and just went for it.
I was really nervous but got approved with 2100 CL! Only got the alert for TU
Still considering the venture card but really holding out for the CSP/R lines if I can. I have 4 international trips planned over the next 2 years and wanted to capitalize!
On my way to better things, hoping to get a CSP/R in a few months for my travel and such!
