If you weren't countered then you definitely left money on the table! I would go back and place another request if I were you! I got two CLI in a 30 days period. First request was for like 10 stacks and they countered with $3.5K! Roughly 3-4 weeks later requested another 10 gees and countered with 6 grand. This was for a different account tho than the Amazon but still it's all SYNCB. Congrats btw!

I always asked for $10,000 and get countered 6,000.

Hello everyone! My experience with the Amazon card is similar to everyone else's. My initial credit limit in January was $1,000. About a week ago I requested an increase to $2,000 via the online chat. After reading posts in this forum I realize I must have left some money on the table since they didn't counter offer. So today call the credit service number and requested a $5,000 limit and they countered at 3500.

Well, I got my CCT reports today and my TU shot up to 691 so I mustered a bit of courage and called CS.

My limit was $2k so I asked for $10k and they countered with $4k.

Nit yet my first $5k limit, but I guess $4k is better than $2k!

They told me if recieve a letter in 7-10 business days explaining why I didn't recieve the full amount.

Anyone get those letters when they are countered?

If so, what are the usual reasons?

Congratulations on your successes! Now time to use your card well. Let us know what your letter says. When I was rebuilding I got all kinds of reasons if my request was denied. Usually time and good use of your credit lines take care of things.
