This card has a 5% back on purchases.

It is through Synchrony.

Is this  a decent approval amount? 

anyone else out there that has it and how long before increases?

Congratulations. That is a decent starting amount, but that is all subjective. You should be able to request CLI after every 3rd statement generates.

 My amazon card started with 1000 and is up to 5000 now

syncrony is always very good with regular increases

my dicks mastercard started with 2k and is up to 10k now

I am not sure of known time frames for limit increases with this specific card.

This is a good amount if this is useful  for you.  I think going beyond that particular measure opens up this approval thread to great deal of speculative opinions. 😅

Congrats! You should be able to request a CLI after 90 days. Synchrony is soft pull for CLIs and you can request through their website. Easy to request CLIs, and the cards can grow to pretty high limits. I have requested multiple CLIs with synchrony within minutes of each other with no adverse affects.
