Amazon Prime Store card approval!

Wow, this one was unexpected to me since I have recently went on a spree. I did not intend to apply for any new cards, but Amazon lured me in!

Approved for $1200 SL and they gave me a $60 gift card!

100% Staying clear of applying for any new cards!

Side note: Would a $5000+ Credit line ever be attainable for someone whos income isn't very high, or does it mainly have to do with your payment history and score?

Congrats on the approval....... And perhaps that's achievable if you run enough purchases through the card....

I'd say it is possible getting approved a $5K on low income. For example, when I used to make $21K and had a 781 Fico with 15 years of credit history, I would get approved large-limit cards because my profile and DTI were good.

YMMV, of course.
