Just sitting here minding my daily business, when I went to CreditKarma and saw my odds for the Amazon Prime Visa as Excellent. That was the first time I ever had any offers from Chase since they were included for $50K in my 10/2019 chp7 bk and though I’m 5yrs 2mos past filing, I’m not yet 5yrs past discharge. Plus I don’t believe half of what I see on CK.
So I head over to MyFico and begin my research and figured I’d be a solid decline based on what I read, but ‘tis the season so...
I started at the Chase website to do the pre approval, no joy, but I was all in so I selected the Amazon Prime Visa, which redirected me over to Amazon to complete the app which I did, and submitted. I fully expected a "Decline" so imagine my surprise when it said….Congratulations, you’re approved! 🤓 CL $4800. Holy cow. And the $150 sub was immediately available. Also, $50 for any referrals who are approved so of course I send to DH who was also approved for $10K! I can’t believe Chase let us back in with ANY of their cards.
