@project21 that is so awesome to hear, and a fantastic way to start. I wouldn't be too concerned about the CapOne denial. They are wacky and iirc the underwriting "may" be a little more strict on the Venture card, plus it's got an annual fee. I doubt that would have been the result with a Quicksilver One app.
Also, a 30 point drop over an inquiry is pretty extra. Where are you getting that score from? If it's Credit Karma then disregard it, if it's Fico then perhaps you had a change In utilization that hadnt reported as of yet. Awesome job either way my friend!
