So I got curious when I was paying my cc amazon store card and saw the button for requesting more and a while back I requested more and was denied but I tried again today and requested 2k from my 800 and they gave it to me... I don't know why I feel suspicious but for some reason I do.

OP, do you monitor your credit through MyFico? If so, the number of your hard pull inquiries would be available to you. Same if you get a free report from Experian. But seems it's a soft pull so no worries. I might try now. lol

Well, OP, thanks for the inspiration. I just hit the luv button for my Amazon Store card. Requested $5000 and got it! Whoo! I was at $1200 with a balance of $457.
