After agressively paying down my card balances and getting approved for Gettington account for $400, an Ikea Visa for $1500, and a CLI on my Express Card from $250 to $750 from hitting the luv button, I was thinking about what was next to get from low 600's to high 600's.
CK said to pay down my amazon card $140 from 1340/1380 which seems obvious, but it said it would bump TU to 660. I don't know if I believe that, but it's my last balance so I figured I would give it a shot. Paid and thought, why not hit the luv button? I read that it was a SP. BOOM! Instant CLI to $2900! Granted I have had this card since 2011ish before my credit troubles and they had reduced it once from $2500 down to $1380 in 2014 but it still feels really good!
I think in about 6 months I will be looking for a major and then closing down one of my small cap one's.
I had a feeling that I could get even more out of this as I only asked for an increase to $2500 and they gave me $2900, so I hit the button again and asked for $4000 and was again auto-approved! WOWOWOW. Far and away highest CL since my troubles in 2013 and 2014. Super stoked.
Welcome To myFICO Forums!
on your latest CLI's

Thank you! All of this is due in no small part to info I read on these forums before I signed up!

Nice!!! Didn't even know you could do that ![]()
Great job!
Congrats on regaining the CL you lost and gaining some!!!

Congrats to the OP.
Question that may fit in this thread vs being a separate thread. I just got my Amazon Store Card within the past two weeks. I have a thin profile, and I'm actually surprised I got the unsecured version. I expected the secured card, but got approved for $1,500.
When am I able to request a CLI and, how long before I'm actually likely to be approved for it? I assume I'd need to wait at least a few statements? Thanks!

Im in the same boat as you with the new card, however from what I have gathered from here it looks promising to get a CLI after the third statement cut and your TU score being above 670.
