I'd try the chat ask for like 10000. I did it with my lowes card. They countered me with 6000 which is a lot better than 1500 they gave me. Also tried with Newegg but that was a no go. Would like the amazon card as well but I don't think I'd get approved with all the new accounts I have currently.
I dont feel like pushing my luck right away either lol. I'll wait till I get the card and a few payments first. Its been coming in handy for a few Christmas gifts! ![]()
How can I do that chat if I dont have the card or know the account number yet. I was curious and just wanted to know where to go when the time comes.
I Was Curious Too, SomeOne Posted Credit Solutions Number On Here Somewhere I Was Approved Yesterday For 1000 SL I Called And Tried To Get 5 No dice....But I Do A lot Of Shopping On Amazon So I'll Try Again In A Couple Months
they pulled tu BTW my scores are 645 but like previous posted stated many have been approved with scores lower
@Anonymous wrote:What score does the Amazon store card require? Which bureau do they pull from? I got an email saying that if approved I would get a $20 credit. It wasn't a preapproval or anything. I'm just trying to lower my overall utilization. Thank you.
Congrats! If I recall correctly, my first purchased was to buy a "prime" membership, in order to get the 5% cash back plus the other benefits that come with it. If you buy anything from Amazon, this card sure can be practical.
For what it's worth, my immediate attempt at a CLI didn't work.
I applied back in september because i'm a frequent buyer on Amazon. I placed and order and was offered a $10 gift card for applying and getting approved. A the time i only had an $800 Cap 1 QS card. I said go for it and i was shocked to get an instant approval for $2100.00 and immediaetly got the $10 girft card. I felt luck was on my side that day and have read from other posts if you do a lot of apps in a single day it doesnt hurt your score that much ( dont quote me its just what ive seen on other boards), anyway i wanted a walmart card been trying for a year i went and applied and bang instant approval for $1600 and to my surprise not the walmart store card but the Walmart Master Card, so needless to say i was very happy. At the time my score was 648 and they pulled from TU. I love amazon because of the deferred payment option and since becoming a prime member the benefits are great. What i didnt know is you can call Amazon customer service and tell them exactly how much of your payment you want to go to your deferred balance and how much to go on the standard balance. The card is amazing I wont apply for the VIsa because its Chase and they dont seem to really like me a whole lot . Anyway sorry for blabbing just wanted to wish you luck and hope your experience with Amazon goes as smoothly as mine has .
