Amazon Visa Signature Approved

I did the application and the result was " You will be notified in writing about the status of your application within 30 days."

Not satisfied, I called Chase and was asked some security questions then had to send them some proof of ID/residence. A few minutes later I was approved. $3k CL + $200 sign-up bonus (Amazon GC).

Were you under the 5/24?  How many new accounts and inquiries did you have?

MCM1, I have not applied for, nor received, a new cc in a decade so the 5/24 rule played no part.
However,  upon researching this Amazon Visa Signature (Chase branded card) what I found is it's one of the CCs that are exempt from Chase's 5/24 rule. If one has already reached 5/24 they can still be approved for this Chase card.
