Yes, I know a lot of people don't like Amazon credit, but I shop on Amazon a lot so this will be beneficial! They declined me in February, so I waited the 6 months, tried again, and got approved for $1400. Very happy! Restarting my garden stay, once again...
Congrats! Was this the GE store backed store card or the Chase one?
Just the GE. Chase doesn't like me yet. Maybe next year. (AU on Chase as of last month so hopefully that will help!)
Congratulations!!
This is very interesting, I just created this account here and unfortunately I was not so lucky, I applied for Amazon store credit today but got the 7 to 10 days with a reference number. I know, I know, it does not mean the end of the world but I was not instantly approved. I hope to learn and grow with everyone here. One more time, congratulations on that as I would like to enjoy having an Amazon store card. Thanks

That's pretty awesome. Chase pretty much hates me too though part of me is still determined to get my foot in the door with them at a much later point in time. It's mainly cause they are very strict on the whole you have to have over a year of credit history to have a better chance at their cards, at least that's what they've told me. I've also gotten turned down cause of new accounts, INQs, that sort of stuff.
Thank-you!
Trust me, I know how you feel! I felt that way in February when I was denied. This was the 1st card I applied for trying to rebuild. 6 months later, I have cards under my belt and I felt good to apply once again for Amazon. Instant decision. I can't help you with the 7-10 message because I've never had luck. I got the same message today for the SM Barclays card. Too bad it's a Friday after business hours, or I'd call! Keep your head up! Call Monday and see what's up!
Yes, I've determined they r 1 of the most strictest cards. But, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel! I'm determined by next year to be "in" with them, not just being an AU.

Yup. For some reason, I'm feeling slightly more hopeful about Barclay's if I decide to go for them instead. Haven't had an INQ on my TU report for two months and hope to make it to December or January without one. Bank of America also tends to be kinda strict and INQ sensitive for me even though I have a checking account with them I use quite often.
Barclays is awesome! I have their rewards card and love it. I'd love their SM too. Hopefully I'll get an answer Monday! Boa IS hard. I applied last month and at least got the 99/500 offer. I'm not taking that because in 6 months, I KNOW I can get it on my own. Good luck!!
