Ameriprise Platinum + EveryDay® Preferred (6th AmEx revolver) + Citi ThankYou Premier Approvals

So, not the best gardener in the world, and for those of you who are very disciplined for staying in the garden I really commend you (you may simply bypass this thread to avoid temptation Smiley Very Happy)

At any rate, a big shoutout to @CreditCuriosity for great insight on the Ameriprise Gold Card (approved 12/26) and Platinum - approved recently on 1/25.  I learned earlier today that Ameriprise Gold is no longer available and Platinum no longer has the AF waived the 1st year.   And, since SPG was a no-go before the 2/12 deadline (ineligible for SUB due to current Chase Marriott and Ritz CCs), I opted for the Everyday Preferred Card (displayed as a pre-approval) - approved on 2/4 for $15,000.  I figured, given that I already have 5 AmEx revolvers, worse thing that could happen is they decline/cancel the application.  So, I was surprised it was even approved!  No HP.

Current AmEx revolvers: Hilton Ascend (formerly Surpass), Hilton (no AF), Cash Magnet, Amazon Business Prime, Schwab Investor Card.  This is my 12th AmEx card.

Then, with the relaunch of Citi Prestige, I had contemplated either the Citi Rewards or getting another TY Premier to compliment it, so I went with TY Premier (hello SUB) Smiley Tongue.  Unfortunately, the application screen went blank once I clicked submit (2/1).  I let it be and figured I'd call the next day to see if it took.  I received a text later that evening and replied.  It was forwarded a senior UW (due to large Citi  exposure) and eventually approved on 2/5 for $16,000 (I didn't have to reallocate CLs).  HP on EX.  This is my 10th Citi 'legacy' card.

For those who may be curious, I'm at LOL/24 Smiley Embarassed. FICO 8 Scores TU 800 / EX 805.  EQ is sadly broken Smiley Very Happy

Congrats @FinStar always amazing seeing what you come up with w/regards to approvals and getting a 6th revolver with Amex is certainly awesome and near impossible as well, but it is true if they like a person enough their is really no limit of the number they will approve as you have shown.  Wonder what will come next when EQ finally gets fixed for you?Smiley Happy

Thank you for the nudge btw CC!   Yeah, me and EQ are not exactly BFFs (as you well know), but we will see.  There's a few possibilities, but I'll let those ride for right now until the issue gets fixed.

As far as the 6th revolver, I remember some folks around here like @Anonymous having that in their wheelhouse.  So, in prior threads I mentioned I wanted to test the waters Smiley Tongue.  Funny that SPG never materialized for me (no HP but declined last year due to miscalculation on the application rules - whoopsie), then the SUB ineligibility when I tried a few days ago, but it's all good.  EDP will work just fine Smiley Wink   I might try for a 7th (just as a GP) on the biz side.
