After four years and two months, I've finally gotten a CLI on my Amex everyday card. The card was $1000, and I was instantly approved for a CLI to $3000. I joined Amex with a gold card (closed due to internal limits that got to be a PITB), then got this card as a back up for my MRs. @UncleB was right, I just needed a little more time after my baddies dropped off.
Finally!!
The real test will be if I get another CLI when it's time to ask again.
Congrats on the increase (finally)!!

Congrats my friend! I'm so glad to see this!
If your experience follows my own it should be clear sailing from here on out!
I know exactly how it feels - I was there for literally years myself. Welcome to the other side!
Congrats on the CLI from Amex!

Ahhh yes, I witness 2 whom have exited the place I am at now - both @UncleB and @Adkins once ventured the Amex standstill where I am at. 1000 on my BCP with CLI request denied. I am happy though - atleast I am in the gate. Patience, patience, patience is what I keep telling myself.
