Amex BCP $100 CLI to $60k

So I reached what I believed to be a ceiling on my Amex BCE (now BCP through PC) back in August 2019 when I got a CLI from $55k to $59,900.  I tried once I believe 6 months later and received my first CLI denial ever since getting the card, further solidifying my believe that my account had indeed reached its ceiling.

So it's been a year since then and I was still sitting at $59,900.  For S&Gs I requested a CLI online to $60k and it was instantly approved.  So the ceiling has been broken and I also wonder if I left anything on the table only asking for $100.  I was expecting a denial, which is why I didn't go for something greater.  I did accomplish rounding off my limit though, so there's that. 

CLI history:  $10k --> $30k --> $35k --> $40k --> $45k --> $50k --> $55k --> $59.9k --> $60k

I guess in 6 months I'll try for $65k and see if I'm back on the $5k/6mo train.

Me too.  We'll see.  Nothing on my profile has changed since 2019 (income, credit scores, spend patterns etc) that I can discern as a reason for the ceiling being raised.  The only notable change to the account was my upgrade from BCE to BCP several months back, but to my knowledge underwriting and standards for both the BCE / BCP are the same.  Could just be the old element of time, where maybe now a CLI on my account isn't possible every 6 months but perhaps is every 12-18 months or something.

Congrats, BBS on that ma$$ive CLI! 

We followed your steps for my DW's BCE and found the same $5k CLI threshold limitation without getting those tax return requests.  She stopped at the $35k mark and hasn't requested since.

I'm curious to know if the BCP expands the $5k limitation or is that the standard for all Amex cards once they reach $30k+?
