Hey Fico Fam,
Wanted to post this in here to add some data but also see if any of you ever had this happen. Well, today was the day I decided to go for my AMEX credit limit increase. It had been over 6 months and today was going to be the day I got to it. I always make sure I clear out other windows/tabs in my browser and my connection is good because I've had issues of my wifi cutting out or the browser malfunctioning right when it's processing for a CLI or application. What a headache when it does. So I put in 3 times my limit to come to a request of $20,000. Click send and get the window popping up that would usually state 'yes or no' but in this case it read: "Our systems are updating. Your request for a credit line increase cannot be processed at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again in 24 hours." My stomach turned like "are you friggen kidding, it's 3pm." I log out in a bum mood, log back in to my main window and there it says my limit is $19,998 (had some pending $1.00 charges).
Well, I guess it all worked out but I never did get an email saying "Congrats. We've raised your limit." Either way, it appears it worked out.
Anybody ever seen seen or read about that happening? Thanks!
It's just you!!! I hope they didn't stick you with $19.998 for a CL and that's actually your available credit with the pending auth's.

Haha that would be like a sick joke. What if I got it through without the system registering it and I could go right back and request another CLI again?!

No, you got the CLI and despite the error message the request was processed and approved. You'll need to wait another 181 days to try agaiin. Congrats on this one. Moving this to approvals.
Congratulations on your AMEX CLI!!
