No one here cares about EQ, either. That's why mine is bloated compared to the other two lol
Congrats again, both on CLI and completing 750 race
Congrats on the nice CLI! But I don't fully understand why so many here are so reluctant to submit to income verification.
My recent AMEX CLI request (from $24K to $48K on my BCP card) generated the 7-10 day message followed by an Email asking for income verification. I submitted the form online and in less than two weeks was approved for the full amount. It was completely painless; I get the sense that AMEX just wants to make sure people aren't lying about their income.
Is there some reason many folks are fearful about verifying their income?

Because honestly, AmEx, and Lexis Nexis, doesn’t need my children’s SS# and other information. I’d happily give them pay stubs, W2s, bank statements, anything else they’d like. They just don’t need that information to share as they’d like. As I said up thread, I under report my income by $30k.
Hmmm...I suspect you're mistaken about the information AMEX requests for income verification. They only ask for IRS Form 4506-T, which authorizes the release of a tax return transcript. That document doesn't contain most of the personal identifying information you're rightly trying to protect.

Income verification is not a problem. A 4506-T exposes too much information to AmEx and a third party.
