Amex Delta Gold 61 day 3X CLI

61 days hit on my $1000 SL Amex Delta Gold so I decided to hit that buttom. 

Asked for 3000.00 via the web and got instantly countered with 2000.00 and I accepted it.

the spend I threw at this card was not much at all. I may have put about 3000.00 into it for the past 61 days. 

Ive been hearing some stories about $1000 starting limits never growing. I was not expecting approval. 

Glad i tried! 

TU and EQ are hovering at 650s. 

EX at 680. 

2 baddies on my reports. But I believe only a medical coll is showing on my EX.

Huge congrats! 

Don't be discouraged by the 2x rather than 3x... sometimes they just take a while to 'warm up', and the fact that they gave you 2x is an excellent sign of things to come!

I agree with UncleB, they didnt reject you, which means they are just getting used to you.  Amex will grow with responsible use.  Good luck and congrats on the CLI!!

I'm helping a friend build credit and he started with 1k on BCE. He will try the 3X in January after statement close.

3K in 61 days on 1K card is good speding. I don't think my friend will use the card that much.
