I was approved for Amex Delta Gold
It has taken me some time to actually pull the trigger. I was pre approved since beginning of the year but thought my data points were too low. At first pre approval I was around a 670 FICO TU and EXP
i had one baddie that was supposed to drop off this month I was waiting for. So soon as it dropped off I pulled the trigger.
I impulsively apped for a card I wasn't prequalified for the BCE and was denied instantly. I was disappointed that I didn't just go for the Delta Gold as that's the one I had prequalified for I immediately went to the prequalified site and App'd for the Delta Gold. Instant 7-10 day message. I then called Amex they stated because I apped for the BCE the second application didn't go through and I must wait 60 days to app again.
I hang up and called back and spoke to another guy I explained to him my situation and that the card I really wanted to app for was the delta and he asked if I'm ok receiving another hard pull to reactivate the canceled app "I said yes"
Initially the pull was Experian about an hr later I received a message from CK my Transunion had been pulled and right after I checked my mail I had a "Welcome to Amex Email"
My credit has come a long way thanks to this forum.

Here you've made a very nice contribution yourself -- thank you & Congrats! KS on getting in with AMEX. It cost you two HPs but those are likely the last HPs you'll ever spend with them. ![]()
And good to see HUCA is still an effective strategy. ![]()
Hahaha it's Costco
