Thanks so much my friend! ![]()
As nice as it is to be approved, it's almost just as nice to know I'm done for a while now! ![]()

Congrats on the Approval!

UncleB, I am beginning to envy you. First you get the USAA 2.5% card, and now this. On top of that you also have the Capital One QS. Stop it! All the cards I want!

LOL... hang in there, my friend - I've not given up on a USAA card for you yet. ![]()
As for the QS, check with Capital One about getting a PC for your Platinum... it took me a while (seriously) but eventually they PC'd my QS1 to a QS. Even if they say 'no', just check back with them via chat monthly... eventually their computer will 'come around' - if nothing else I'm proof that persistence pays! ![]()
Also remember that since you have the Delta Gold Amex and Hilton Amex you can apply for any of their other cards and if declined there's no HP. Actually, even though I was approved for the Everyday there was still no HP, although on approvals the HP is YMMV (it's a fairly recent 'thing' for existing cardholders to get a new approval with no HP).
When the time is right I look forward to reading about your approvals as well! ![]()

Thanks! My Capital One is actually the secured card. I plan on apping for the QS much later in the year once my credit history is longer and I have inquiries fall off. I keep checking pre-quals, nothing yet. Not expecting USAA to open back up my eligiblity, who knows. As for the EveryDay, yeah I love the no HP thing. I didn't know that some were getting no HP on approvals though. I actually applied for it a few months ago and was denied. Then 30 days later I got approved for the Hilton. I guess underwriting is harder on the non co-branded cards. So I'll wait a bit before re-applying for that too.

Yeah, I'm an old fart... LOL. The worst part is, I missed 20 years of backdating goodness by three weeks.
(I literally got my BCP three weeks after they stopped backdating.)
That's OK, though, I'm just pleased they were kind enough to give me another chance! ![]()
Thanks again! ![]()
