Re: Amex Everyday score?

No installment  loans. One card with $5,000 limit for furniture I bought. Another $2,100 furniture card. AAOA is 1.5 years I think with maybe 7 inquiries in 2014

Forgot to mention one baddie from 2011 - charge off

Were you only single pulled for your ED card? Or was it a double, triple pull across all bureaus?

Re: Amex Everyday score?

It was a single pull I think because I've been watching my accounts and haven't seen amex come through on TU or EQ.

I gotta say, That is probably the lowest EX score i've ever seen approved for a AMEX Revolver aside from the Oasis/Optima Plans..

Nice one. They probably liked your relatively fresh, clean file.

Re: Amex Everyday score?

After reading this forum I gotta say I agree with you. I'm a year out of college and I want to say that their approval has more to do with my disposable income but I'm going to try my very best to not make any mistakes so I can make the most out of this.

Good plan, my man.

AMEX will be good to you if you're good to them.

Re: Amex Everyday score?

Just got instant approval for BCE from reading this thread. Don't know my EX score yet (will they tell me if I call?). Guess I don't need NASA after all (wanted replacement for legacy).

Wow! Congrats. That really encourages me to go for it in January so I can get the backdating that I need among other things, especially how much more I'd get out of using the cashback at Amazon than with the ED card.

Yes, I'm quite happy (don't know how cash back works with amazon).  And look at the other cards in my sig.  This will lead to better approval down the road.
