Amex Gold Delta Approval

I'm very excited right now! I recently got a promotion and I now have the time and money to do some traveling. I've been planning a trip to Boston for the spring and I wanted to get a travel rewards card before I booked a flight.  So I did some shopping and decided to apply for the Amex Gold Delta Skymiles card.  I tried their prequalify and was only offered the Everyday card, but I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did.

 

I was approved with a 8k limit.  Smiley Very Happy 

 

My credit history is only 2 yrs old, and currently I only have a USAA Secured card (it was my first line of credit... kept only for aoa), and a cap1 quicksilver with a limit of 2k. I was not expecting a limit that high! 

 

Sorry, I'm just super excited and I know you guys will understand!!

I know the feeling. Congrats on your approval. Keep in mind that 61 days from your approval you could request up to 3x cli (up to 24,000) on tht card. Good luck and enjoy your trip!!

Congrats! The card has nice benefits when flying Delta.

Good starting limit too! Mine was only $2k in 2013.
