Amex Gold Delta + Chase Slate Approved

So I escaped from the garden last night ( Don't tell MJ since he's giving out Mulch duties for escapees) and ended up with 2 instant approvals.

I needed to travel soon and decided to app for my 1st Amex. Went for the Gold Delta and was instantly approved for $3,500

Also pulled the trigger on a Chase Slate so that I could take advantage of their "No BT Fee" offer and was instantly approved for $1,000. I would like to recon for a higher CL on the Slate but should I wait for card to arrive before I recon? What's the best number for initial CL recons? I am fully aware that Chase will do another HP for recons

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Someone else just reconned a Slate approval from 3200 to 7500 right after initial approval so you can call now if you want.

Yes recon now!! I did today...$3200 to $7500. Yes 2 HP only is only app isn't TU. It's all random but don't wait, call now. Appd and called 20 min later.

@ Jamielei24 - I called the recon number and a rep suggested that they only recon denied apps and they do not handle CL recons. I was just reading another post by Best2014 ( link to the post) where someone called the same recon number 888-245-0625 and was told the same thing. I will try to call on monday and see whether I can get a different outcome.
