Well. I cancelled my blue cash preferred after my first year. After the gold Amex started giving 4x MR on groceries it made it obsolete. In the long game now. Approved for 10K SL. Brings me a to a little over 50K in Amex exposure without going through a financial review. They did ask me for one at about 35K and I submitted the paperwork online twice but for some reason it wasn’t processed by either Amex or IRS. Dunno. Haven’t bothered to try again since. Plan to keep this a year and then upgrade to a second Aspire card. Still got the bonus despite closing 2 cards after the first year within 8 months of each other. my wife (player 2) should also get the referral bonus.
