Amex Platinum Approval

Approved with NPSL (details on why thats relevant coming) and $6000 Pay over Time 

So back in 2017 I upgraded my card to Platinum and had an additional card holder on my account. Unfortunately they made a payment that returned and as a result Amex put a $2000 preset limit and over the years, I was never able to get that limit removed. 

I still have the gold card (Downgraded from Platinum) and use its benefits as a daily driver. 

I've wanted to have both the Gold and Platinum for a few years now but was never able to get approved. (Before the Annual Fee Increase)

Yesterday I had the itch to try again, Instead of the usual instant decline. I get a 7-10 message, followed by an email for financials, connected my account but it kept failing. It sent another email to upload a bank statement,which I did. Woke up to: 

Beyond excited as I have a few trips over the next few months that i can maximize the benfits on!

Congrats, OP! Don't forget to activate all the credits and benefits so you can get max value from the card. You still have a few weeks to hit the Q3 credits like Resy, Lululemon, etc and the rest of the calendar year for the FHR, airline and the rest of the annual credits.
