I started my relationship with Amex back in October of 2017. I had previously had employer issued corporate cards with them, but never my own account. I cold apped for the BCP back in 10/2017 and was approved for $2000.00. I was denied my 60 day CLI, but continued to pay in full each month and was approved for $3000 CLI to $5000 total CL after another 90 days. My wife cold sometime in February for the PRG (she travels a bit for work) and added me as an AU.
I was in my account a few months back when I got a targeted banner that I was pre-approved for the new Cash Magnet card. I apped while logged in and provided income and was got an instant approval for $15,000.
I am taking a trip for work next month and I am staying in a Four Points Sheraton for 6 nights. I never stay at SPG / Marriott properties so I don't have any cards on their rewards platform. I was checking rewards cards and saw they had the option for either a Marriott Rewards by Chase (I'M SCREWED WITH 5/24 WITH CHASE) or the Amex SPG that both have the same exact rewards structure. I logged into my Amex account last night and saw that it was in my list of "offers" and apped for the card. It has a 75,000 point SUB after spending $3000 in 3 months which at some properties is as much as 15 free nights or 2-3 free nights at higher end properties. Totally worth the deal.
I apped throught the offer and got an instant approval for $20,000 and temporary card with $10,000 spending limit! I never got a hard inqury for the Cash Magnet or the SPG card, and in under I year I've gone from having $2000 exposure and being denied CLIs to having $40,000 exposure. It just goes to show you that when you treat Amex right, they treat you right.

In an interesting turn of events, I just got a UPS notification that they shipped the card to me yesterday via UPS next day air and I will have it this afternoon!

WOW! Congratulations on the awesome approval and SL.
