Amex question

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the SPG card. In order for it to be a SP if declined do I need to app through my account on the amex website or can I just folllow any link anywhere and Amex will know I am already a member?

Never mind. It is still available. I just looked. Hmm. That's weird.

I dunno. I followed a link from another website and now I see the offer with the app and it appears I am logged in, so I think it will be ok.

Make sure the offer is still valid! You can always get someone to reffer you as well

So I just apped for the SPG card and was told I will be informed by mail of the results. I assume this is a denial?
